page views: Recently, a glass bead processing enterprise in Shandong Province has completed an energy system upgrade and successfully introduced biomass gasification gas to replace the original natural gas. The project has been fully installed, commissioned, and officially put into operation this month.
According to the company, it mainly engages in glass bead production, where energy costs have long accounted for about 70% of total production costs. Under the previous natural gas system, continuous price increases severely squeezed profit margins, and in some periods, the plant even faced losses when operating.
To reverse this situation and reduce energy costs, the company conducted extensive research and technical evaluation before finally adopting a biomass gasification system. Using agricultural and forestry waste as feedstock, the system produces biomass fuel gas to fully replace natural gas.
After commissioning, the system has been operating stably, and the fuel supply meets the continuous energy demand of the glass bead production process. While ensuring stable production, it has significantly reduced energy expenses, providing strong support for the company to restore profitability and enhance market competitiveness.
The successful implementation of this project also offers a replicable clean energy substitution solution for high-energy-consuming industries such as glass processing, demonstrating strong practical value and promotional significance.
